Andrej Kasik. Jahrgang '82. Musiker seit dem 5. Lebensjahr. Photographiert seit dem Alter von 14. Begann mit Dunkelkammerarbeit mit 18. Sieht Musik. (Und hört Photos.) Bemüht sich, Atmosphären in Stadtlandschaften, Straßenszenen und Portraits zu verdichten. Sehr interessiert an Modephotographie. Auslöser, mit der Photographie zu anzufangen, war Antonionis Film Blow-up. Sein Herz schlägt für Dunkelheit und Rotlicht. Würde ohne eigene Dunkelkammer kaum photographieren wollen. Größte Leidenschaft neben Musik und Photographie ist das Kino, wenn auch nur als Zuschauer.

Andrej Kasik. Born '82. Musician since the age of 5. Taking pictures since the age of 14. Processing in darkrooms since 18 years old. Sees music. (And hears photographs.) Trying to distill atmospheres in cityscapes, street scenes and portraits. Very curious about fashion photography. Started/took up photography after seeing Antonioni's Blow-up. His heart belongs to the darkness and red light. Wouldn't take half as many photos not given the possibility of self-conducted lab work. Besides music and photography, cinema is his greatest passion, though only as a viewer.
